Interacting with Solana Programs
Using a deployed program means building an instruction and sending it in a signed transaction. Reading existing account data is a separate operation and usually needs no wallet approval.
The basics
- The client needs the program ID, the expected accounts and the instruction arguments.
- For an Anchor program, an IDL describes how the client should format those instructions.
- A transaction signature is a tracking ID. Check its confirmation and logs rather than assuming that submission means success.
Try it yourself
Use Playground’s Test panel to run initialize on your deployed template. Open the returned signature and find your Hello message in the logs.
